Fix negative net pay or skip someone
When deductions are bigger than the pay, lower them, add a one-off, or leave the employee out of this month's pay run.
A payslip can go below zero, for example when a loan repayment is bigger than a short month's pay. Owlvix won't approve a run with a negative payslip, and tells you who it is.

Read the warning. The draft run shows Net pay is below zero for … at the top, with the names.

Find the payslip. It has a Negative net pay badge. Check its lines: here a loan repayment is more than the salary.

Fix it, or skip. Lower the deduction on the employee and click Recalculate, or add a one-off. To pay them nothing this month, click Skip and confirm.

Approve the rest. Skipped people are listed under Left out of this run. Click a name to put them back. The run can now be approved.

Good to know
- Skipping only affects this month. The employee is in next month's run as usual.
- A payslip that pays back an expense claim can't be skipped until you remove that line.
