The Lots tab lists every batch and serial number. Open one to see where it is, where it came from and where it went: exactly what you need for a recall or a warranty claim.

Steps

  1. Open Inventory, then the Lots tab. You see the lots and serial numbers in stock, with their product, expiry date and quantity.

    Open the Lots tab
  2. Filter or search. Choose Expiring within 30 days or Expired to find stock to sell or remove, or All to include lots that are used up. Search by lot, serial number or product.

    Filter by expiry
  3. Open a lot. On the left you see how many are on hand and in which warehouse.

    Open a lot
  4. Follow its history. Traceability lists every move of the lot, newest first, with the receipt, invoice or sale behind it. Click a reference to open it.

    Follow its history
  5. Correct the expiry date or add a note, such as the shelf it is on, and click Save.

    Add a note

Tip For a recall, open the lot and look at the Sold moves: each one links to the invoice, which shows the customer.

Good to know

  • Lots that reach zero stay in the list under All, so their history is never lost.
  • Expiry dates are only a warning. Owlvix doesn't stop you selling an expired lot, but sales always take the one that expires first.
