Where are my backups? Can I export my data?
Owlvix backs up every company every night. The owner can also download all of the company's data at any time as a ZIP of spreadsheets.
You don't need to back anything up yourself: Owlvix makes a full backup of the servers every night, keeps a copy in a second place, and tests that it can be read. On top of that, your company's owner can download everything whenever they want.

Open Settings (owners only) and scroll to Your data.

Click Export my data. You get a ZIP with one spreadsheet (CSV) per table, such as customers, invoices, products and journal entries, plus your uploaded files. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.

Smaller exports
Many screens have their own Export CSV or PDF buttons, for example the tax return, reports and invoices, for when you need just one list.
Need something restored?
Deleted something by mistake? Contact us as soon as possible with what it was and when. We can restore from the nightly backups.
Note Only the owner can export all data. The export works even when the subscription has ended.
