A job is a position you are hiring for. Write what the role is about, add a few questions for applicants, and set it to Open: it is then listed on your careers page, where people can apply.

Steps

  1. Open Recruitment. In the menu, click Recruitment. The overview shows your open positions, the applicants at each stage and upcoming interviews. Click New job.

    Open Recruitment
  2. Name the job. Type the Job title, the Department, the Location and choose the Employment type.

    Name the job
  3. Write the description. Leave a blank line between paragraphs. Start a line with "- " for a bullet or "## " for a heading, and wrap words in two stars for bold.

    Write the description
  4. Set the salary, status and team. Enter the monthly salary range and tick Show on the careers page if you want to publish it. Choose Open to publish the job now (or Draft to finish later), the Hiring manager and the People to hire.

  5. Add questions (optional). Click Add a question for anything you want every applicant to answer.

  6. Click Save job. The job's board opens, ready for applicants.

Good to know

  • The hiring manager is told about every new application for the job.
  • With Close jobs when they are filled on (Recruitment → Settings), a job closes by itself once you hire the People to hire.
  • Unpublish takes an open job off the careers page; Close job stops new applications.
