Plan the work on the task board
Add tasks with an owner and a due date, drag them from To do to Done, and set priority and estimates.
Every project has a task board with four columns: To do, In progress, Review and Done. Break the work into tasks, give each one an owner, and move the cards as the work moves.
Steps
-
Open the project. Click it on the Projects overview. The task board is the first tab.
Open the project -
Add a task. Type what needs doing, pick who does it and the due date, and click Add task. It lands in To do.
Add a task -
Move tasks along. Drag a card to the next column when work starts, needs checking or is done. Done tasks count towards the progress bar.
Drag tasks along -
Open a task for more. Click a card to set its Priority, an Estimate (h) and the details.
Priority and estimate -
Click Save task. You're back on the board; a red dot on the card marks a high-priority task.
Save the task
Tip A red dot on a card means high priority; a red date means it is overdue. The My open tasks list on the Projects overview shows everything assigned to you.
Good to know
- A card shows the hours logged against the estimate, for example 6 h / 8 h.
- Deleting a task keeps its logged time on the project.
